33. Install the push rods through the end of the fifth driven gear, with the ball bearing between them.  Install the small seal in the gear again.

34. Remove the 10 mm nut from the end of the actuating arm (see Figure 29) and remove the arm from the case.

35. Clean all the components and the case thoroughly.  Coat them with grease and install them in the case again.  Grease the clutch actuating plunger heavily to keep it from falling out of the case.

36. Install the two hollow locating dowels in the engine case.

37. Install the magneto side engine cover.  The four screws are three different sizes.  The shortest goes in the top rear hole and the longest in the bottom rear hole (see Figure 30).  The other two go in the front holes.
 

38. Install the kick starter lever on the shaft.

39. Clamp the lower rear engine mount flange in a vise with soft jaws.
