23. Install spark plug and torque to 18 ft.-lb.

24. Coat the clutch actuating plunger with grease to prevent it falling out.

25. Coat the magneto cover face with silicone sealer.  There is no gasket.

26. Install the magneto case as detailed above.

27. Check the clutch actuating arm for 1/2" to 5/8" movement.  If necessary, remove the inspection cover in the primary case to expose the push rod adjusting screw in the clutch pressure plate.

28. Loosen the lock nut and turn the adjusting screw clockwise until it starts to bind (see Figure 49).  Then turn it out about two turns, until there is 1/2" to 5/8" play in the actuating arm . Tighten the nut and install the cover.
