24. If the clearance between the shift fork peg and the shift drum groove in either gear position is more than .008", replace the shift fork and measure the new one.

25. Figure 26 shows the correct place to measure for second gear on the center groove of the shift drum.
26. Figure 27 shows the correct place to measure for fourth gear in the right groove of the shift drum.
27. Figure 28 shows the correct place to ure for fifth gear.  Be sure measurement of groove corresponds to correct shift fork peg.
