21. Install the crankshaft back into the cases, bolt them together with 5 or 6 screws, and install the cylinder. Rotate the engine three or four times, then recheck the location of the rod as described in Paragraph 18. Repeat this process until the connecting rod is centered between the crankshaft flywheels.
22. Remove the cylinder and piston and part the engine cases. Remove
and tag the crankshaft shims "right" and "left", so that they will not
become lost or mixed up. Remove the dummy bearing. Refer back to Section
1 of this Chapter for instructions on installing the left main bearing
and crankshaft oil seals.
