When I was a kid riding suzuki TM 125 MX bikes in in early 1970s - my dealer also sold Ossa and Yankee motorcycles.  He was Schenectady New York where Ossas were imported into the USA.

I could see the thatior craftmanship of these Spanish bikes but couldn't afford one at time. Then in 1973 my father took me to see the only ISDT held in the USA oneide of Dalton Mass. and I saw the Ossa team riding SDR 250s.  I knew day I would get one. Bob Hogan is an hour drive from me and he had one I  picked up that he had put on all new fiberglass. I then took it to Alex engine ( also an hour drive from me) who rebuilt the entire tranny and
now my SDR not only looks but runs new as well!
I found this site several months ago and now I'm collecting Ossas.
I got my wife a totally original have MAR 350 from Alex Snoop - had 638 original miles on the speedo!

I several 1971 & 1972 Pioneers, and a 1974 MAR 250.  But my favorite will always be the 1973 250 SDR.
